Chippendale Walnut Corner Chair

The crest rail, rounded in front, flat in back, with cut out ends is affixed to the arm rest rail. All three stiles are pegged to the arm rest rail. The matching pierced splats mortise into the seat and arm rest rail. The cross stretchers mortise into the beveled legs. The front leg is molded. The slip seat is rush covered with natural cane. The antique finish is hand applied and rubbed to achieve a rich patina.
