Queen Anne Walnut Dining Table
The graceful rule jointed tripartite top is oval. The arched-scalloped skirt and the thumbnail-molded edges on the leg stiles are of the traditional Philadelphia manner.
The center part consists of two boards of equal width that are attached to a rectangular frame with wooden pegs. The outer legs are attached to the side rails with five-fingered knuckle joint hinges. The cabriole legs end with a trifïd foot. The antique finish is hand applied and rubbed to achieve a rich patina.
