Chippendale Walnut Dressing Table
The southern walnut dressing table has a graceful apron with a central arch that supports a three drawer arrangement. The drawers are fully dovetailed with poplar sides and cedar bottoms. They have a small bead which is also used on the legs. Each drawer has two runners. The two board top has a molded edge. The brasses are hand cast and the finish is hand applied and rubbed to achieve a rich patina. 29″ H x 18 1/2″ D x 32 1/2″ W Possibly Virginia c. 1770-1790
