Chippendale Mahogany Side Chair
The complex pierced splat supports a carved crest rail. A spray of acanthus leaves and “C” scrolls flow throughout the rail. The molded stiles end in rectangular legs that splay back and are connected to the bead edged front lets with “H” shaped stretchers. The finish is hand applied and rubbed to a fine patina.
