Queen Anne Walnut Handkerchief Table

The four notched corners of the open top blend into a pleasing curve when the leaf is down. The graceful scalloped skirt is mortised, tenoned and pegged to the stiles, which support the cabriole legs, with padded feet. The center leg is attached to the side rail with a five fingered knuckle joint hinge. The antique finish is hand applied and rubbed to achieve a rich patina.
